Lavender of the Stoechas or Stecade species, is an evergreen woody perennial plant, widespread in the coastal regions of the Mediterranean.

Lavender essential oil is extracted using the steam distillation method; with this operation a liquid with a fine and delicate fragrance is obtained, less intensely aromatic than the oil extracted from Lavender angustifolia.

Skin: it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action, particularly indicated in the case of ear infections, to be applied externally conveyed by a cream or vegetable oil.

The characteristics of this essential oil make it also suitable for cosmetic use, in particular to combat acne and eczema.

Aromatherapy: It can be used to perfume rooms in a delicate way.

Thanks to its expectorant and anti-catarrhal properties, it is also important to use in the case of sinusitis and bronchitis, with mucolytic and expectorant action.
