Sidr is a desert plant belonging to the Rhamnaceae family. Its leaves are reduced to a very fine powder, rich in saponins, which give it the washing power: it is therefore useful for washing the hair of people who have problems of intolerance and allergies. Leave your hair clean, shiny, healthy and well conditioned. It does not leave any colored pigment, so the Sidr is considered a "Henna Neutral".

HAIR: volumizing and strengthening, excellent for treating skin problems such as dandruff, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss and as sebum-segulator, thanks to the presence of mucilage. Protects from smog, wind, chemicals and heavy metals. Used pure does not release any type of dyeing pigment, but if added to Indigo paste, Henna or Katam helps to fix the dyes on the hair fiber, leaving also the hair clean, shiny, healthy and well conditioned. The Sidr is ideal for those who have light hair and would like the conditioning, the thickness and the protection given by Henna, but without any change in color, for those who can not use any soap or detergent to wash the hair and for those with thin hair , without tone and would like more thickness and consistency

HISTORY and CURIOSITY: the name derives from the crown of thorns of Christ: it seems that the tree used to produce it was the Sidr.

HOW TO USE: Mix the powder with boiling water. Add any other herbs for a synergistic effect. Allow 20 minutes to cover well covered. Apply the paste on dry or wet hair for washing, massage the skin with circular movements. Leave on for 50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. A final rinse with water and vinegar helps keep the hair shiny and soft.
