It is traditionally distilled only in the first days of the year, during the alignment of the planets and in specific lunar phases.

It is rich in terpenic compounds, in particular limonene, which gives citrus and fresh notes, the percentage of which varies according to the area in which the tree grows, thus creating different nuances of fragrances.
Just Limonene, the prevalent compound, has proven antioxidant, antiseptic and purifying, sedative and relaxing properties. It is used in Aromatherapy to appease anxiety and headaches, to promote relaxation and meditation, but also to relieve respiratory system diseases, thanks to its antibacterial properties.

How to use: In Aromatherapy 2-3 drops in a room diffuser to perfume and purify the air, to facilitate meditation and concentration. To help the airways put 2 drops on a cotton handkerchief to smell from time to time, also useful during periods of stress and negativity. You can add a few drops to the bath water for a complete immersion in relaxation. For regenerating massages, dilute 2-3 drops in a vegetable oil or cream.
