100% pure Essential Oil, obtained by steam distillation from the fresh inflorescences of organic Tuscan Lavender.

Full, round, slightly herbaceous, relaxing aroma, widely used in relaxing and regenerating treatments for body and mind. Fresh, pungent, slightly camphorated note. The Lavandula Hybrida abrialis is a hybrid between the Lavandula angustifolia Mill. (Lavender Vera) and Lavandula latifolia medicus (syn.L.spica) Thanks to the goals achieved in the last century by modern agronomic techniques, it has been possible to have, through hybridization, a yield of Essential Oil up to 3 times higher than that of Lavender Vera, while maintaining an excellent quality standard of the volatile components.

The main difference compared to the other species can be found primarily on a chemical level: the camphor and 1,8-cineole content is usually higher than in classic lavender, while the levels of linalyl acetate are lower.

There are several varieties of Lavandino: this one is rather rare and is superior to the others due to its high linalool content.

The scientific bibliography, albeit less detailed than for other species, describes a sedative action on the central nervous system and an antispasmodic very similar to that of Lavender Vera and moderate antioxidant and antimicrobial properties both by contact and by inhalation.

Very useful as a pesticide on animals. At the musculoskeletal level, it is traditionally used in massages for contractures, stiff joints and muscle pain.

Perfume, as is well known, contributes to psychological relaxation.

In aromatherapy it is indicated for the nervous system and disorders such as anxiety, insomnia and nervousness.

It is not sensitizing or irritating in moderate doses.

On the skin: Traditionally used in decontracting and relaxing massages, in case of arthritis, diluted in a vegetable oil such as Tamanu, Andiroba or Black Currant. Indicated in local skin applications for dermatitis, skin infections, allergies, scars, itching. Useful in cold compresses in case of bruises, or hot in case of neck pain.

On the hair: massage into the scalp, to relax, activate circulation and fight dandruff, also added to the Sardinian Wild Helichrysum Shampoo. Inserted in an inhalation mix, it is excellent for nasal and bronchial congestion.

Relaxing bath and ambient fragrance (many prefer lavender angustifolia). Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources. Made in Tuscany
