Indian tree of the family Meliaceae that reach 30 meters in height and need very little water to survive. Neem is known in Ayurveda for its effectiveness in the fight against diseases.

HAIR: Neem has many properties: anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antiviral, sebum-regulating, astringent and purifying. Used to combat scalp dryness, itching and severe dandruff, disorders that also helps to prevent, if used consistently. It makes your hair shiny.

SKIN: Useful in case of dermatitis and redness, it can be applied on the skin for acne, mushrooms, psoriasis, urticaria. Strengthens the immune system and gives a feeling of freshness. Used with a vegetable oil, it helps in dry skin problems, against itching and redness from eczema. Useful for diaper sores and bedsores. Cicatrizing, eliminates excess sebum and stirs the pimples, as well as lightening them.

HISTORY and CURIOSITY: in India a divine tree was born, and every year beginning many Hindus eat some leaves as a propitiatory rite. It is also an excellent natural insecticide, its wood is in fact not even attacked by moths.

HOW TO USE: Mix the powder with boiling water until you get the consistency of a yogurt. Add any other Herbs. Cover and allow to macerate for 20 minutes. Apply the paste on dry or wet hair and massage with light circular movements. Apply what remains on the lengths. Leave on for 20/50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and make a light and diluted Shampoo, like our shampoo all'Elicriso selvatico della Sardegna (Semplice Macchia Line). A final rinse with water and vinegar helps keep the hair shiny and soft.

As a face mask, it is advisable to mix it with Argille or other Herbs. Leave on for 10 minutes. Not far saw the mask, but keep it moist by delivering water or hydrolates.
