ZINC OXYDE

Very fine white powder, soluble only in acidic or basic substances and not in water. It is particularly used in solar, as it is a physical sunscreen and therefore avoids the harmful effects of exposure to sunlight; in fact it is able to reflect and disperse the solar radiation, in particular the UVA, which is why it is also associated with other more active substances instead against UVB rays.

Soothes inflammation and irritation of the skin, helps to heal wounds and prevents the appearance of redness or skin problems. It has an antiseptic and astringent action, indicated for this also in the treatment of pimples and bedsores.
