Sandalwood is a small tree of the family Santalaceae, evergreen and emi-parasite, which is fixed on the roots of other species, especially Palme and Bamboo, from which mainly recovers water and mineral salts. The powder is extracted from the wood and can be added to the water of a hot bath to combat physical and mental exhaustion.

SKIN: On the face can be used by those suffering from acne or has black spots and boils, thanks to its purifying and antimicrobial properties. It is also illuminating and an excellent adjuvant to counteract skin spots. Helps to rebalance oily skin and reduce the itching caused by eczema and rashes. Excellent association with Curcuma, Amla, Robbia and Nagar Motha.

HISTORY and CURIOSITY: An ancient Indian popular belief claimed that no evil spirit could enter a house where the scent of Sandalwood was spread.

HOW TO USE: Mix the powder with warm water or Rose water (recommended!) and add any other herbs. Cover the container and allow to stand for 15 minutes. Apply the paste to the clean, dry or slightly moistened face and keep in place for 10/15 minutes. If your skin is mixed or dry, do not dry the mask, but moisten it from time to time, apllying water or Floral Water. Complete the treatment by applying Rose Water or other Floral Waters. Herbs can be used in synergy with each other for a complete and personalized treatment.
