This molecule is naturally present in some fruits, especially citrus fruits.
In the cosmetic field it is mainly used as a pH regulator and as a natural effervescent for the preparation of bath bombs. At home it can be used for several purposes.
Standard solution preparation: dissolve 25 g of Citric Acid in 100 ml of water and stir the mixture in order to obtain a complete dissolution of the product. Add the solution drop by drop on a preparation (e.g. cream or lotion) until the desired pH is reached.
